Panama Shopping: The Cure for Shopaholics Anonymous

Before entering any store you must check your bags into the baggage place. Often you have to wait in line to check your bags in and to retrieve your bags when you leave the store. Now imagine doing this every time you enter a store no matter how little time you actually spend in the store. It drives me crazy and takes all the fun out of window shopping.

Kalie and I walked all around looking for the food court but all we ever found was this DQ and the organic restaurant next to it. (Most of you know what I think about organic). Anyway we finally left the mall and ate at the Subway near our house. A few weeks later Kalie went to the same mall with some friends and they showed her the secret food court. It was up a special escalator that was hiding in plain site. Food court or no food court, the frustration of trying to find it alone was enough to turn me off from that mall.

WARNING: for those with young children near please wait to view the next two photo's until they are safely out of range. OK these are TYPICAL mannequins that grace every store front. The first one, is one of many, that is in the front window of a store vaguely resembling Target. Very vaguely !!!! The second photo was taken in a store similar to a cheap Ross. I think they get all the stuff that doesn't sell at Ross and sell it down here. Everything is just as tacky as the outfit they have on this model. Does she make any of you want to buy something or just run to the nearest bathroom?

Yes I believe these are triple EEEs

What man wouldn't want to see his women dressed in this outfit?

My final annoyance with shopping here is the lady who follows you around the store. We got a great photo of her trailing Kalie through the cosmetic section but somehow it didn't save on the camera. But just imagine someone assigned to be your shadow the ENTIRE time you are in a store and who has no concept of personal space. There will usually be at least four of these ladies in any cosmetic section. If they had any idea the makeup they are guarding so vehemently is sold in grocery stores in the States it would pop their minds. Sometimes, when you are looking at clothes and you turn to see something behind you, you actually bump into them. This is the point in which I and my money walk out of the store.
